Description:
This 4-day class will introduce you to building wooden tables. The goal of this class is to get you skilled enough to design and build on your tables. In the class you will learn to select wood, design sturdy tables, design and build mortise and tenon joints, and select appropriate finishes. Over the 4 sessions of the class, you will build a koa end table.
Prerequisite Skills/Knowledge: Basic woodworking skills and completion of the Shed’s Level 1 and 2 safety training classes.

Note: There are 2 sections of this class. Both meet on two consecutive Saturdays and Tuesdays, with one meeting 1-4 pm and the other 5-8 pm. They are identical sections, so please only sign up for one section.
